"The design study terminated abnormally.
An error has occurred while requesting an additional
2.048 gigabytes of memory from the operating system.
To correct this problem, you may need to increase the amount
of swap space on your system.  You may also need to increase
the memory usage limits that are set for your system.
For large problems you can also try decreasing the
solram allocation setting.
At least 2.52134 gigabytes of memory are needed to run this design study.

不會是要加RAM吧？

I met the same issue.
My solution is:
sim_solver_memory_allocation 768 change to sim_solver_memory_allocation 512

512 is 0.5 times my machine RAM(1G).  It suggested by PTC:
Setting solram to 0.5 times machine RAM is usually the best compromise between reducing the amount of disk I/O and leaving enough machine RAM for disk caching and for other data. By limiting the solram allocation to half the machine RAM or less, you greatly increase your chances of achieving optimal performance. If there is too much demand on machine RAM and swap space, system performance can be severely degraded. In this situation, decreasing solver RAM can increase overall system performance.

沒錯 把虛擬記憶體調高便可, 我剛有同一問題, 調高後重新開機已解決

再看是否setting 問題
